Keep your eyes open on the water. Dolphins and turtles are regularly spotted along this stretch of coastline. Not guaranteed, because nothing in nature is, but it happens and when it does, it tends to stop everyone in their tracks.
The boats hold up to 6 people, come fully equipped with snorkelling gear, life jackets, Bluetooth music system and a full tank of fuel. Everything is included in the price, with no hidden extras.
You stay within 100 metres of the coast, which keeps things safe and also keeps you close to the best of what the south coastline has to offer. Bays, coves, cliffs and the kind of scenery that looks completely different from the water.
No licence required. Drivers must be 18 or over with a valid ID. Rent from 1 hour up to a full 6-hour day. The longer you stay out, the further along the coast you can go.
Arrive at Puerto Colón at least 30 minutes before your chosen start time. There is no hotel pickup for this experience.

No licence is required and no previous experience on the water is needed. Before you set off, the team walks you through everything: how to start and stop the engine, how to steer, how to anchor safely, and what the rules are on the water. It is straightforward and most people feel completely comfortable within minutes of leaving the harbour. The only requirement is that the driver is at least 18 years old and carries a valid ID on the day. If there are multiple adults on board, anyone who meets that requirement can take the wheel at any point during your hire.
Each boat holds up to 6 people comfortably. Included on board is a full tank of fuel, snorkelling equipment for everyone, life jackets in all sizes, a Bluetooth music system so you can connect your phone and set the soundtrack for the day, and full insurance. There is no food or drink provided, but you are more than welcome to bring a cool box, snacks and drinks on board. Finding a quiet bay, dropping anchor and having lunch on the water is one of the great pleasures of this experience and something we thoroughly recommend.

These are wild animals in their natural habitat so sightings can never be guaranteed, but the coastline and the experience more than stand on their own regardless.
That depends on what you want to do. One hour is enough for a taster and a quick swim stop. Two to three hours gives you time to cruise comfortably along the coast, find a bay you like, snorkel, drift, and head back without rushing. Four hours or more means you can genuinely explore a serious stretch of coastline, have lunch on the water, and make a proper day of it. Most groups who have done it before say they wish they had booked longer. If you are unsure, going for at least two hours is a good starting point.
If sea conditions on the day make it unsafe to go out, you will be offered the choice of a different date or a full refund. Your safety always comes first and the team will never send a boat out in conditions that are not right. You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your hire. Most bookings only require a small deposit upfront with the balance paid on the day, so you can secure your preferred time slot with confidence and adjust if you need to.

The boats depart from Puerto Colón Gate 3, Costa Adeje. Make your own way to the harbour and arrive at least 15 minutes before your chosen start time. Parking is available inside the harbour at around €1.20 per hour. Any questions, contact us and we will help.
