You do not need a licence. You do not need experience. You need to be at least 10 years old and willing to try something that stays with you long after the holiday is over. The first breath underwater is one of those moments that genuinely stops you. Weightless, silent, and completely surrounded by the Atlantic.
Your instructor walks you through everything before you enter the water. How to breathe, how to signal, what to expect. Clear, simple, no rush. Then you drop in together, and the ocean opens up around you.
The dive takes place at one of the most beautiful spots on the south coast. The water is warm, the visibility is exceptional, and the marine life is outstanding. Sea turtles, tropical fish, and volcanic rock formations. It looks nothing like it does on a screen.
Everything is included. Wetsuit, full equipment, instructor, briefing and hotel pickup from Costa Adeje, Las Americas and Los Cristianos. All equipment is maintained to the highest standard by a fully licensed and PADI-registered dive centre.
Four departure times daily at 09:00, 11:00, 13:00 and 15:00. Secure your spot with a €35 deposit and pay the rest on the day.

None at all. The try dive is designed specifically for complete beginners. Before you enter the water your PADI certified instructor walks you through everything you need to know. How to breathe through the regulator, how to equalise the pressure in your ears, how to signal underwater, and what to do if anything feels uncomfortable. The briefing is clear, relaxed and thorough. Once you are in the water your instructor stays beside you at all times, in full control throughout the dive. The only requirement is that you are at least 10 years old.

Sea turtles are regularly encountered on the dives, alongside angel sharks, moray eels, octopus, stingrays and a huge variety of tropical and Atlantic fish species. The volcanic rock formations create a dramatic underwater landscape that looks completely different to anything you see on the surface. Your dive is led by a fully licensed, PADI certified instructor who stays with you from the moment you enter the water to the moment you surface. PADI is the world's leading scuba diving training organisation and the highest standard of certification in the industry. All equipment is maintained and checked before every dive. The try dive takes place in sheltered, calm conditions on the south coast, making it one of the safest and most accessible introduction to diving anywhere in the Canary Islands. If at any point during the dive you feel uncomfortable, your instructor will bring you back to the surface immediately.
Everything you need for the dive is provided. Wetsuit, buoyancy control device, regulator, mask, fins and tank are all included in the price and maintained to the highest standard. Bring a swimsuit to wear under the wetsuit, a towel and sunscreen for after the dive. Comfortable shoes for getting to and from the water are worth having. You do not need to bring any diving equipment. The total experience lasts around two hours from pickup to drop-off, with 30 to 40 minutes of that spent underwater.
A deposit of €35 secures your place and the remaining €35 is paid on the day before your dive. You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your booking and receive a full refund of your deposit. If sea conditions make it unsafe to dive on your chosen day, you will be offered a rescheduled date or a full refund. Four departure times run daily at 09:00, 11:00, 13:00 and 15:00. Book early to secure your preferred time slot as spaces are limited per departure.
