Three hours or four and a half. The Freebird One catamaran is the largest in Europe at 28 metres. The southwest coast of Tenerife, the open Atlantic, and some of the best whale and dolphin watching waters in the world. Sit back and let the crew take care of everything.
The 3-hour tour departs daily at 10:00 from Puerto Colón. The catamaran heads out along the Costa Adeje coastline in search of pilot whales, bottlenose dolphins and Atlantic spotted dolphins. A specialist cetacean guide is on board throughout, sharing fascinating insights into the behaviour, diet and habits of the marine life you encounter. Sandwiches, soft drinks, water and beer are all included.
The 4.5-hour tour departs at 13:15 and goes further. Much further. The catamaran sails all the way to the dramatic cliffs of Los Gigantes and the stunning Masca Bay, one of the most breathtaking stretches of coastline in the Canary Islands. More time on the water, more marine life, a swim stop, and a full hot meal of chicken and Canarian potatoes included on board.
Both tours include a swim stop, a specialist guide, and drinks throughout. Both give you an excellent chance of encountering wild whales and dolphins in their natural habitat. The Freebird One has a VIP sun deck, a shaded indoor lounge area with bar, and a second viewing deck for spotting cetaceans from above. Sunbeds are available on board on a first-come, first-served basis.
Children aged 5 to 11 travel at a reduced price. Children under 4 sail free. Hotel pickup is included from Los Cristianos, Las Américas, Costa Adeje, Callao Salvaje, Playa Paraíso, El Médano and Golf del Sur, with pickup times confirmed after booking depending on your location.

Bring swimwear, a towel, sunscreen and comfortable clothing. Food and drinks are included on both tours so there is no need to bring anything for the journey. If you are prone to seasickness, it is worth taking preventative medication before departure as the Atlantic can be choppy on some days. Wheelchairs cannot be accommodated on board due to the nature of the vessel, so some mobility is required for boarding.
