You paddle out from Los Cristianos along one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in the Canary Islands. Calm, clear water. Volcanic cliffs. The kind of morning or afternoon that resets everything.
Then you stop. Pull on the snorkel and drop in. Below the surface is a world most tourists never see. Volcanic rock formations, schools of tropical fish, octopus, moray eels and sea turtles that call this stretch of coastline home. The visibility here is outstanding, and the marine life is extraordinary.
No experience needed. Single and double kayaks are available, and the guide keeps the group together throughout. All snorkelling equipment is provided. Full insurance is included for every guest. Your guide is a licensed rescue specialist who has been running these tours for years.
Pick-up is available across southern Tenerife for €4 per person, payable directly to the driver on the day. Prefer to make your own way? The tour departs directly from Los Cristianos beach. Three departure times daily at 10:00, 12:30 and 14:00. Minimum age 6. Secure your spot with a €20 deposit and pay the rest on the day.

Your guide is a licensed rescue specialist who keeps the group together throughout and covers everything you need to know before you set off. The kayaks are stable and straightforward to handle, and the snorkelling takes place in calm, shallow water with excellent visibility. If anyone in the group is nervous about the water, the guide will make sure they feel comfortable at every step.
The waters off the south coast of Tenerife are home to a rich variety of marine life. Below the surface you can expect to see volcanic rock formations, schools of tropical fish, octopus, moray eels and stingrays. Sea turtles are resident along this stretch of coastline and are regularly spotted during the snorkel stop. The visibility in these waters is outstanding year-round, making every dive into the surface a genuinely impressive experience. The underwater volcanic landscape is unlike anything most guests have seen before.
Both options are priced per person and the experience is identical. A single kayak gives you full control of your own paddle and pace, which many guests prefer. A double kayak is ideal for parents with younger children, couples, or anyone who wants to share the paddling. The guide will help you choose the best option for your group at the start of the tour. Children aged 7 and over can paddle a single kayak with the guide close by, or sit in the front of a double with an adult at the back.
Wear a swimsuit and bring a towel and sunscreen. The tour is on the water for two hours so sun protection is important, particularly on the midday departure. Water shoes or sandals are useful for getting in and out of the kayak. All snorkelling equipment is provided and full insurance is included for every guest. You do not need to bring any water sports equipment. If you are taking the pick up option, the €4 per person is paid directly to the driver on the day, so have that ready in cash.
A deposit secures your place and the balance is paid on the day of the tour. You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before departure and receive a full refund of your deposit. If sea conditions make it unsafe to go out on your chosen day, you will be offered a rescheduled date or a full refund. Three departure times run daily at 10:00, 12:30 and 14:00. Book early to secure your preferred slot as group sizes are kept small to ensure the best possible experience on the water.
