We pick you up directly from your hotel. The departure point sits just outside town, so from the moment you set off, you are already in open terrain, away from the busy resort roads and into the real Tenerife.
Your guide speaks English, Italian and Spanish, leads the group every step of the way and sets the pace throughout. Fully automatic bikes. Small group. No experience needed.
The route climbs through the Corona Forest and into Teide National Park at 2,400 metres. Stops along the way for photos and commentary from your guide.
The sunset tour follows the same route and finishes above the clouds, watching the sun drop over the Atlantic.
Hotel pickup, full insurance, helmet, jacket, gloves and all safety equipment included. Children aged 7 and over are welcome as passengers. Morning, afternoon and sunset slots available. Deposit to book, balance paid on the day. Drivers must be 18 or over with a full valid driving licence to present on the day. Maximum combined rider weight: 160 kg per quad.

No previous experience is needed. The quad bikes are fully automatic, so there are no gears or clutch to worry about. Before you set off, your guide will give you a full safety briefing and explain the controls, braking and riding techniques. Most first-time riders feel confident within minutes. Drivers must hold a full valid driving licence (provisional or learner permits are not accepted). If you'd rather relax and enjoy the scenery, you can ride as a passenger on a double quad. The maximum combined weight per quad is 160 kg.
Absolutely. Children aged 7 and over or minimum 120cm tall are welcome to ride as passengers on the back of a double quad, accompanied by a parent or guardian. Drivers must be at least 18 years old. Helmets and all necessary safety equipment are provided in every size, so younger riders are fully protected throughout the tour. Some tours also offer the option for smaller children to travel in the guide's support vehicle for a small extra charge, meaning nobody has to miss out.
Both tours follow the same spectacular route through pine forests, ancient lava fields and Teide National Park. The daytime option offers bright, crisp visibility that is perfect for photography and for appreciating the volcanic geology up close. The sunset option transforms the entire experience: you ride as the light softens and the sky shifts through golds, pinks and deep oranges above the clouds. Sunset tours consistently fill up first, so we recommend reserving your spot several days in advance if that is the experience you are after.
Wear closed shoes (no flip-flops or sandals), comfortable clothing you do not mind getting a little dusty, and bring a warm layer. The route climbs to around 2,400 metres above sea level, where temperatures drop noticeably even on warm days. Sunscreen and a bottle of water are also wise additions. Everything else is taken care of: quad bike, helmet, safety briefing, insurance and free hotel pick-up and drop-off from the main south Tenerife resort areas. Depending on the tour option, refreshments such as local wine, soft drinks and tapas may also be included at the end of the ride.

If access to Teide National Park is restricted due to weather or park regulations, your guide will reroute to an alternative scenic area along the coast so the adventure still goes ahead. In the rare event that the tour cannot run at all, you will be offered a rescheduled date that works for you or a full refund. You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before departure, and most bookings only require a small deposit upfront with the balance paid on the day. That means you can lock in your preferred date with complete peace of mind.
